Trainual Pricing (2026): What It Actually Costs

Trainual does not publish its prices. Not one plan, not one number.

Its pricing page lists four tiers, Core, Pro, Premium and Enterprise, tells you what each includes, and gives you a “Get a demo” button. There are six of them on the page and no prices anywhere.

There is also no free trial and no self-serve signup. You cannot create an account and look around. You start with a sales call.

The one number Trainual publishes is a $1,000 one-time implementation fee. Budget for it on top of whatever your subscription turns out to be.

What Trainual Actually Publishes

Four plans, each defined only by features. Here is what separates them, since that is the only thing you can compare before the call.

Core is thinner than it looks. It gives you 2 GB of video storage and no video uploading at all, so you can embed video but not host it. If training video matters to you, Core is not the plan.

The Last Prices Trainual Published

Trainual has not always been quote-only. It published a full price card, and that card was still live on 18 November 2025. By 15 February 2026 every figure on it was gone.

Here is what it said, on the same four plan names Trainual still sells today.

Everything was billed annually and every plan started at 10 seats. Two more numbers sat on the same page: the premium course and compliance library add-on started at $600 a year for 10 seats with extra seats at $60 a seat a year, and putting your account on hold instead of cancelling cost $20 a month for up to three months.

Go back to early 2025 and Trainual priced by headcount rather than seats. Small covered 1 to 25 employees at $249 a month billed annually, or $299 month to month. Medium covered 26 to 50 at $279 annually or $349 monthly, and Growth covered 51 to 100 at $419 or $499. Anything larger was quoted. Add-ons were sold separately: premium courses from $104 a month, unlimited e-signatures $29, a custom domain $14.

Use these as an anchor, not as a quote. Trainual has restructured its pricing twice in about a year and then stopped publishing it, and prices that come off a website rarely come back lower. What the old card gives you is a reference point. If you are quoted well above $399 a month for a team of ten, you can ask why.

Why the Numbers You See Elsewhere Are Out of Date

Most Trainual pricing articles still present $249 to $399 as current pricing. That is exactly why the figure spread so far: it was real, and it was recent. It is just no longer published, and nobody went back to rewrite their page when it came down.

Older guides go further back and describe Train and Scale plans, or a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. Those are gone too.

Treat any specific number you see online, the ones above included, as history rather than a live quote. The only current Trainual price is the one a rep gives you on the call.

How to Estimate Trainual's Cost Before the Call

Trainual gives one indirect signal. In its own ROI section it describes the product as “a 0.1% payroll investment.”

That is marketing framing rather than a rate card, but it is the closest thing to a number Trainual offers. On a $1,000,000 payroll it implies roughly $1,000 a year, which is almost certainly below what most teams are quoted, so treat it as a floor rather than an estimate.

What actually moves your quote is seat count. Trainual publishes no per-tier user limits, which means headcount is negotiated rather than listed.

The three numbers to ask for

• Per-seat cost at your actual headcount. Not the list rate, the rate for your team size.
• All-in first-year total, including the $1,000 implementation fee. This is the figure that makes a comparison against another tool honest.
• What happens at renewal. Ask whether the first-year rate holds, since quote-only pricing means it is not published anywhere.

Get those three before you compare Trainual to anything cheaper. Without them you are comparing a real price against an unknown one.

Is Trainual Worth It Without a Published Price?

Quote-only pricing is a real cost in itself. You cannot budget, you cannot compare quickly, and you have to sit through a call to learn a number.
