SimpleTexting has no named plans at all. It runs nine tiers priced purely by how many credits you send in a month. One SMS up to 160 characters is one credit, an extended message up to 306 characters is 2, and an MMS is 3.

They Do Not Charge for the Same Thing
This is the whole comparison, and almost every other article gets it wrong by lining the two prices up as though they measure the same quantity.
EZ Texting sells you list capacity. Moving from Launch to Boost triples your bill and buys you nothing except room for more contacts. The message allowance does not change.
SimpleTexting sells you message volume. Your list can be 200 people or 200,000 and the price is identical. What moves the price is how many texts you send.
So the question is not “which is cheaper.” It is which of your two numbers is bigger: your list, or your send volume.
The 6,000 Credits Are a Yearly Allowance
Here is the detail that catches people out.
EZ Texting's Launch, Boost and Scale plans all include 6,000 credits per year. Not per month.
That works out to 500 messages a month, which is exactly the same allowance as SimpleTexting's $39 entry bundle. The two headline numbers look twelve times apart and describe identical volume.
It also means the Scale plan at $100 a month ships the same 6,000 credits as the Launch plan at $20. You are paying five times as much purely for contact headroom.
What happens when you run out. EZ Texting charges overage per message: 4 cents on Launch, 3.5 cents on Boost, 3 cents on Scale, and 1 cent on Enterprise.
SimpleTexting has no overage charge, because you simply move up a credit tier instead. Going from 500 to 1,000 credits costs $20 more, which works out to 4 cents for each extra message. The step from 1,000 to 2,000 is $30 for 1,000 credits, or 3 cents each.
So the marginal cost is roughly the same on both, somewhere between 3 and 4 cents. The difference is that EZ Texting starts charging it after 6,000 messages a year, while SimpleTexting's allowance is monthly.
