Though there are multiple companies offering mass email marketing and SMS services to businesses, what really sets Brevo apart is how comprehensive and customizable their platform is.

As a digital marketer for over 10 years, I've used my fair share of communication software. I've used email marketing tools like MailChimp and Constant Contact. Hundreds of CRMs like Hubspot and Keap. Marketing automation apps like Zapier. The list goes on and on.
When I first came across Brevo, the number one thing that intrigued me about their platform is that they package all of these common marketing communication tools under one hood. This provides a number of benefits, especially when it comes to a project management and resource control standpoint.
After signing up, I really enjoyed the overall layout of the software. I was able to quickly set up an account and didn't feel overwhelmed when I first logged into the system. The user interface was clean and easy to navigate. Uploading contacts and setting up email and SMS marketing campaigns was a breeze, especially if you have experience using any of the aforementioned tools.

The one thing that I found to be a little bit cumbersome was the marketing automation system. The workflow builder is very visual oriented, and it reminded me a lot of Keap, which I'm not a huge fan of either. It's not a deal breaker for me, but it is something that comes with a bit of a learning curve. Once you get a hang of setting things up, you'll find that you can create really robust workflows.
In terms of creating manual campaigns, there are a good amount of templates that you can use to improve your speed to market. The design of the templates aren't out of this world, but if you have a good graphic design company or background at your disposal, you'll be able to jazz these up quite a bit. You shouldn't have any problem creating really high-end agency communications within Brevo.
Brevo's built-in CRM is a really nice bonus. I can't tell you how many email and SMS marketing automation workflows I've built using tools like Zapier in my lifetime. This saves a bunch of money from reduced licensing and labor to configure integrations. With that being said, if you have complex sales pipelines, need really detailed custom reporting, and other unique CRM requirements, you may find the built-in CRM system a little too basic. For the vast majority of small to mid-sized businesses, however, it's more than sufficient.
Overall, I really like Brevo's platform and I can see the value in centralizing marketing communications. In terms of the best plan, I'd recommend going with the premium package. It's only $65/month, which is a steal when you think about how much you're getting and what you would pay for individual software licenses. With the premium plan, you get some nice add-ons with Facebook ads, landing pages, and telephone support. You also get multi-user access, which is important if you want to share access and collaborate with team members.
