DMCA Takedown Notice Authorization

By checking the provided checkbox during the sign-up or service activation process, you (“Copyright Owner”) hereby authorize DDIY and DMCA Desk (“Agents”), and their designated agents and employees, to act on your behalf as your non-exclusive legal agents for the purpose of filing DMCA takedown notices to address the unauthorized use or reproduction of copyrighted material that you legally own or have the rights to.

Authorization Scope

This authorization permits the Agents to:

Identify and assess potential copyright infringements involving your copyrighted material on digital platforms, websites, and services.

Draft and send DMCA takedown notices to service providers, web hosts, and content platforms where the copyrighted material may be infringing upon your copyright.

Represent you in communications with third parties and digital platforms regarding the DMCA takedown process.

Rights and Responsibilities

You affirm that any material for which a DMCA takedown notice is filed by the Agents on your behalf is copyrighted by you, and you have the legal right to initiate actions to protect your copyright. You acknowledge that the Agents act on the information and authority you provide and do not assume liability for the copyright enforcement actions carried out at your request.

Term of Authorization

This authorization is effective upon your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions by checking the corresponding checkbox and remains valid until you or any of the Agents terminate this authorization. You may revoke this authorization at any time by notifying the Agents in writing.

Liability

The Agents will take reasonable care in performing their duties under this authorization. However, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Agents and their affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with the Agents' actions taken on your behalf under this authorization.

Acknowledgement

By hitting Submit, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this DMCA Takedown Notice Authorization as part of the Terms & Conditions of using DDIY's and DMCA Desk's services. You affirm that you have the legal authority to grant this authorization and that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.
